Toms River Woman, 61, Killed In Head-On Crash: Police

A 61-year-old woman from Toms River was killed in a head-on crash, authorities said.

The crash — involving a commercial refrigerated box truck and a Nissan pickup truck — occurred on Route 70 in Manchester around 6:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, Manchester Township police said.

The pickup driver, Sandra Wade, died as a result of her injuries at the scene, police said.
